Another great mention from Edible Seattle in the Binge column of their November/December 2011 issue. “For some, caramel is not complete without salt. Beauty News NYC, a chic online beauty magazine, suggested my chocolates in their Metro Home section on Wine and Bites for Thanksgiving, “With flavors like the ruby-colored Chocolate Caramel, Fleur de Sel Caramels, Bittersweet Vanilla Bean, Praline with a caramelized cocoa nib, and Bittersweet with Sumatra Coffee (among others), this is the perfect box of chocolates for a special occasion – which renders it a great holiday gift too!”

Reporter Stephanie Zonis reviewed my chocolates for the online culinary magazine, TheNibble.com. She called them “elegant,” “a perfect gift in miniature” and says that I “make it much too easy for you to think you should try ‘just one more’ of her chocolates.”

I was thrilled to receive a mention in the November, 2010 issue of Edible Seattle. Editor Jill Lightner praised my chocolates for showing "gentle restraint." She went on to compliment my Honey Caramel, saying it "is one of the finest, with a thick liquid filling lightened by a precise touch of fragrant honey," and ended by saying that Cadeaux chocolates, "please and impress through subtlety."

In March of 2009, Seattle Met magazine gathered three samples from local chocolate companies for a taste test, asking for one milk, one dark and one chocolatiers choice.
All of the city’s heavy-hitters submitted entries, but Cadeaux was named the winner in all three categories including Milk Chocolate for my Milk Chocolate Ganache with Vanilla Bean, Chocolatier’s Choice for my Fleur de Sel Caramel and Dark Chocolate for my gold-flecked Bittersweet Chocolate Truffle, which the tasters called a “superstar.”

Cadeaux’s gold-flecked Bittersweet Chocolate Truffle was a favorite among the tasters who participated in Seattle Magazine’s “Seattle’s Best Desserts” story. Deemed Most Valuable Chocolate Truffle, they called it “almost-too-pretty-to-eat,” declaring that, “one is never enough.”
